Most leadership teams aren't really teams
They’re collections of capable individuals who meet on the same day. They perform alignment in the boardroom but run parallel agendas underneath. They avoid the conversations that matter most, tolerate mediocrity in each other, and wonder why their people don’t collaborate when they don’t either.
The cost is real: slower decisions, duplicated effort, strategic drift, and talented people who leave because they can see what the senior team can’t, or won’t, address.
If any of that sounds familiar, this roundtable is for you.
A structured conversation between 10 senior leaders facing the same challenge
This is not a conference. There are no panels, no sponsors, no lanyards, and no death by PowerPoint.
It is a half-day, facilitated roundtable built around one question: what does it actually take to turn a group of senior individuals into a leadership team that functions as one?
You will be in a room with 10 peers; CEOs, MDs, COOs, and senior directors from non-competing organisations, all grappling with the same issue. The conversation is structured, confidential (Chatham House rules), and designed to surface practical insight you can act on immediately.
How the day works
10:00 – Arrival and coffee
10:30 – A short provocation: why leadership teams fracture and what the research tells us about the teams that don’t
10:50 – Facilitated discussion: where the real gaps are and what’s actually driving them
12:00 – Lunch and peer networking
12:45 – Deeper dive: paired and small group work on the hardest questions, brought back to the full table
14:00 – Personal action planning: one commitment, pressure-tested by peers
14:30 – Close and next steps
15:00 – Ends
Every participant receives a 30-minute follow-up conversation with Vince Hannant within two weeks of the event – to help you stress-test your thinking and turn insight into action.
